In the first season, Leonard Snart serves as a member of the team assembled by Rip Hunter. Their primary mission is to stop Vandal Savage from destroying the world and to prevent his rise to power. During this time, Snart works alongside Mick Rory / Heat Wave, Martin Stein / Firestorm, Jefferson Jackson / Firestorm, Ray Palmer / The Atom, Sara Lance / White Canary, Kendra Saunders / Hawkgirl, and Carter Hall / Hawkman. The team is supported by the A.I. Gideon. By the end of the first season, Snart sacrifices himself to destroy the Oculus and stop the Time Masters. Following his death, Kendra Saunders departs after Savage's defeat; Carter Hall had already died earlier in the season.

In Their Own Story

In the second season, the remaining Legends face the Legion of Doom, which includes a time-displaced version of Leonard Snart. Alongside Eobard Thawne / Reverse-Flash, Damien Darhk, and Malcolm Merlyn, this alternate Snart joins the antagonists opposing the team. During these events, the Legends are joined by Nate Heywood / Steel and Amaya Jiwe / Vixen. Although the team eventually defeats the Legion of Doom, they accidentally destroy time, leading to Rip Hunter's mysterious disappearance.
